Francesco has been for three years dean of the cooking classes at Badia a Coltibuono, taking the place that once was of Lorenza De Medici.Located in the heart of the Chianti Classico Region, the well-known Badia a Coltibuono offers the classic regional Tuscan cuisine.

Chef Torre adapted this concept by hosting similar classes at his restaurant Canneti Roadhouse Italiana, located in the heart of Russian River Valley. All products used during classes are locally sourced and sustainably farmed and grown.

Two formulas are available:

1)Cook and taste: after cooking, class enjoy lunch in the high top table overlooking the peaceful back gardens. For parties of no mera than 4 guests lunch can also take place at the chef counter.

2)Class enjoys a glass of Tuscan chilled Rose’in the gardens along with house cured Salumi and warm Rosemary Focaccia, that seats and have lunch paired with Tuscan wines

Menu varies seasonally, but in general you will cook:

Rosemary Focaccia

A pasta course such as Potato Gnocchi, Ravioli, fresh Tagliatelle

A main course using local proteins such as Salmon, Dungeness Crab, Pork, Chicken, Beef or Game

(almond cookies)
